On sale is 12 sets of premium quality double-point bamboo knitting needles. Each set includes 5 pcs of needles 9" long in sizes US 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,10,10.5, and 11. Sizes in US and metric are permanently etched onto the needles by laser. These needles are of premium quality. They are uniquely different from other mass produced needles: (1) The moso bamboo used to make these needles are hand picked from a grove locally known to produce the hardest bamboo culms; (2) The needle points are shaped by automated blades to create uniformly shaped needles; (3) These needles are naturally finished by the finest sanding paper. Their smoothness is natural, comfortable and very different from fake smoothness created by lacquering (short cut to cover up underneath roughness). This purchase was a great buy. I love to knit socks with different weights of yarn, so it is great to different sizes like this assortment does.

These needles are quite good. They are not finished (as Clover dbl pts are), but with a bit of carnuba wax, they are perfect. They seem to have a tendency to splinter a bit, but that is because I haven't had the time to wax all of them. I do like them and they definitely enhance my needle collection.

My needles arrived very quickly, and I used them immediately. They are all extremely smooth and light. A few of the dpns had a slight curve, but not enough to be a detriment to my knitting. They are also noiseless but for the sound of the yarn moving over them. I love them, and I'm giving my old aluminum set away!
