Book Description
Sewers love clothes - 80 percent of American sewers create garments, with 31 percent using their sewing skills to embellish ready-to-wear items.
Wearable art is a work in progress that sewers, quilters, and crafters of any skill level can tap into to change what you own, and create one-of-a-kind fashions. Altered Artwear With Wearable Style teaches you how to create denim bags, scarves, and hats from a pair of jeans you already own; use belts as purse straps; transform jeans into skirts, tablecloths into vests and design a whole new world with painted text, swipes of metallic color, and textured fibers.

recycle those jeans
by Customer A21KQPUECS9I7R at August 26th, 2008
Good info for "green" people to recycle those jeans. Not too many clothes, but lots of accessories. Well recommended for the crafty person.
