Lightweight Heavyweight!

I own four machines and this machine is my "travel" machine. I take it with me whenever I have to leave the house and go to someone's house to sew, or go to a sewing club, quilting club, or quilting bee! Others can't believe how light this machine is. You can pick it up easily with one hand, so you really don't need a carrier for it as long as you pack it well during transport. As far as sewing, it compares very well to higher end machines. The other machines I have are BabyLock, which are based on Brother machines (I believe Brother manufactures them for Babylock or has some kind of arrangement with Babylock because they are extremely compatible and parts are interchangeable). This machine is very fast, has plenty of stitches, and is a real workhorse. If this is the only machine you are going to buy it is a great purchase for the money. Very easy to use, easy to thread, definitely not a troublemaker like some machines can be!
