Buyer beware

I purchased this and the first machine was defective. It was replaced. I received a replacement, which has also died - something with the computer chip this time, not mechanical. It seems one month is the mark where they die out. I'm sure some people have had success, and I WANT success with this, but it just isn't happening. I just hope Amazon will process my refund as I am wary about getting another defective machine!
