Dressmaker II .... Waste of time and money

Horrible little machine. Skips stitches, can't controll tension, repeatedly broke thread (no matter what quality used), makes strange noises. To make matters worse, no availability of customer service. No response to emails or phone calls. I got it to just do some straight edge sewing and hemming. Couldn't even do that.
It's a great little machine.

I admit I had my reservations when I pulled it out of the box, it was so small. But I pieced and finished a bed size quilt with this little machine. It is loud and very light, it walks around the table top. But I had no other problem with it. I used the thread with it at first then switched to a machine quilting thread, no more problems. Love it.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a friend & was impressed with Amazon's fast shipping. My friend loved this gift; she does know how to use a sewing machine so she had no problem putting it together. Overall, it is a pretty good product that comes in handy for smaller jobs.
