Equipped with an automatic looper threader and built-in roll hemming and capable of differential feed to gather fabric for ruffles and reduce stretching when sewing knits, this 4/3/2 thread serger can perform numerous stitch functions while stitching, trimming, and overcasting in a single operation. It's simple to operate, fast (up to 1,300 stitches per minute), and uses standard sewing-machine needles. An electronic foot pedal permits smooth speed control, ensuring full needle penetration even at lowest speeds. Stitch functions available include 3-thread and 4-thread overlocks. Accompanying the machine are six creative, snap-on feet: bead/sequin, elastic, cording, taping, blind hem/lace, and shirring. Also included is a soft, zip-up storage/carrying case with handles. Color-coded threading, adjustable stitch width, adjustable stitch length, a stitch-length control dial, adjustable differential feed, presser-foot pressure adjustment, and tension-adjustment dials for all four threads offer exceptional flexibility and control. As in prior reviews, my serger also arrived broken. The thread stand was screwed on too tight and snapped off during shipment. Still waiting for a replacement which is being sent using the same slow DHL to USPS method. Will hopefully arrive in one piece. Will amend this review if I ever receive a working product. :p

Looking for a replacement part for the small needle plate that attaches to the larger plate. The small plate is the one with 2 prongs.

... because it arrived broken. Whoever assembled it managed to torque the screws on the thread guide bar so tight that the rather flimsy spool stand attachment cracked. This may be a better 'live' purchase, I wouldn't advise buying this online.
