Amazon.com Review
Weighing 3-2/3 pounds and measuring just 11 inches long, 9-1/2 inches high, and 5 inches wide, this tiny, lightweight machine is perfect for quick mending and repairs. It's great for teaching children to sew, but it's no toy. It mends, hems, and alters with a durable true lock stitch just like full-size machines, provides adjustable stitch length, allows free-arm sewing, and sews through multiple layers of denim. Solid metal mechanical parts and a metal frame inside a plastic housing ensure durability. There are eight built-in stitch patterns, producing 15 decorative, utility, and stretch functions, including blind hem and zigzag. A top drop-in bobbin is easy to replace, and the machine has a unique swing-up horizontal spool-pin design. To adjust thread tension, a knob is conveniently located in the front. Accompanying the machine is an accessory kit that includes an AC/DC adapter, two bobbins, a snap-on zigzag foot, and a needle threader. --Fred Brack

Hunk-a-Junk
by Customer A21FIDW5POSJ3E at October 19th, 2002
As my title suggests, this thing is a hunk of junk. After about five minutes of use, the shuttle hook became misaligned and the whole things stopped working. Unfortunately, it appears that there is no replacement for a real machine.
Don't waste your money.
