One Of My Favorite DIY Craft Books Ever!

This book is so much fun! Where to begin... There are so many awesome ideas for those old t-shirts and new one's that you want to add a special twist to. Not only that, but there are other projects you can make. From skirts, pillows, blankets, rugs, checkbook covers, i-pod covers, purses, totes, sunglass cases, dresses, earrings, hats, headbands, leg warmers, arm bands, pins, ponchos and even a wedding dress! This turned out to be the perfect purchase, it was just what i was looking for. I see all these t-shirts in the stores that are supposed to look re-constructed that are selling for big bucks. So, I wanted to know how to make my own great fashion statements. I'm tired of the same old choices that everyone else is wearing. I am 27 years old, but I am young at heart and very petite at 4'10, so the ideas in here are just right for me. I suppose that the shirt & skirt ideas are not right for everyone, especially if you like to be mostly covered up by your clothes. Or if you aren't into daring choices. But, I think that it doesn't matter what age you are, your clothes should reflect your personality and how you feel. I believe in dressing for the mood i'm in that day. Why does a gal have to have only one particular "style" that they dress in? Have fun with a broad variety of choices each and every day. This book has plenty of fun variations for each project, and great full color pictures of what your finished project will look like. It begins with the anatomy of a t-shirt to help you understand how t-shirts are made, and to help you when cutting up a t-shirt. Step by step instructions guide you through each project, and fun facts keep you entertained. This is a must own for the open minded fashionistas out there!
