The ladies in serger classes have all helped me test these projects.“Speedy Checkbook Covers” was a particular favorite because it doesn't look like anything until it's turned and then you're done. It produced many giggles and “Wow, that's great” comments.

This book was all about simple (and ugly) projects, rather than the how-to basics book I was looking for. Ugly graphics, too.

I have been sewing for thirty years and this is by far the worst instruction book I have ever bought. Unclear instructions were bad, but then at least there was some light comedy- in the spelling errors. Who proof read this book???

A Good Way to Learn to Serge

Even after 50 years of sewing, Nancy's book provides tips and tricks I had not seen before. This book is another example of her excellent teaching skills. It has step by step instuctions, and clear concise text that is easily followed to complete any of the many projects in the book. My granddaughters could learn to serge with this book.
