Great FUN book! Missleading reviews.

I bought this book after seeing it at a DIY fair. A booth had projects set up from this book that came out terrific. It has some great tricks for mending clothes as well. It taught me to hem my pants and keep the original hem, that tip alone has saved me more $ than the price of this book. It costs me $12 a pair of pants to be hemmed. I'm 5'4 and have to hem all my pants. My neice loves this book and I think it's a little more her speed being 15 and creative, she likes to embellish and recreate her clothes. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who knows a little about sewing and looking for something fun and different. I also have Generation T but the projects in that book aren't geared towards sewing but cutting and shredding. I don't agree with some of these negative reveiws listed. There are great projects and creative ideas in this book.
