This is a lovely book with great patterns for making doll clothes. I am still enjoying making clothing for my friends' girls' dolls.
Not so easy

While the fashions are super (per my 9 year old daughter), the patterns do not seem easy to follow for someone with somewhat limited sewing experience.

Joan Hinds patterns are well though out and easy to follow. Her fashion choices certainly reflect the choices I see on my elementary aged students. I find that they can be integrated with patterns from her other books as well which allows for a lot of creative choices.
