Compact, lightweight (under 15 pounds), capable of 32 stitch functions, and loaded with other options, this Singer machine is simple to operate and makes it possible for even novices to enjoy creative sewing. Stay Away

I purchased this for my wife to begin her sewing escapade. She used it for a few times and it ended up breaking...unfortunately, when it broke, it was after the warranty was already expired. The repair shop wanted over $100.00 to fix it, so not even worth it. I'd buy something a bit higher up...
Don't Waste Your Money

I've had this less than a year and it has been nothing but trouble. It jams up constantly, breaks thread and needles. Then to discover that the root cause of the problems is a PLASTIC gear in the mechanism. Very poor design.
I got better performance from my mother's 40 year old machine.
wears out fast
