Book Description
Designer brands in Paris, Milan, and Tokyo are copying hip-hop street life today, and the T-Shirt is the urban fashion staple. Now, the first book from the women who redefined and marketed the torn T-shirt concept and started a fashion craze, shares 20 unexpected and easy-to-follow projects for every gal from 10-25. Here's a way to be hip, cool, and fiscally responsible--all at the same time.

This is the best DIY t-shirt book I've read. The refashioned clothes are real, wearable clothing. They don't look like that t-shirt you hacked up in high school, which is cool on a 15-year-old, but not so great if you want something more grownup and/or stylish. It gets you thinking on a track of making tees feminine and sexy!

I have a host of t-shirts that I've started to convert. Some of the designs are okay but if you tweak it a little you can even refashion their designs. I'm quite happy I made the purchase.

Very disappointed with this book, designs reveal lots of flesh, will work for only the very thin.

I love this book, the instructions are clear and very precise. I have made almost every shirt in this book and when I wear them I always get a compliment! I would recommend this book to anyone who loves one of a kind garment and who like to dress outside the box.
Great and Stylish
by Customer A2F2O7VI66DBUK at August 03rd, 2007
I'm 33 and would wear about 80% of the styles in this book.
The T-makeovers seem much more contemporary (not all 80's Madonna throwback) sophisticated yet fun and fresh compared to most of the other books of this kind. The photography, models, and style notes are top notch. Thank you Sistahs!
